Thoght For Days

Power To Tolerate
You have the power to tolerate anyone and any situation. But tolerance is not just suffering in silence. It means going beyond any personal discomfort you may feel, and giving a gift to whom ever you would tolerate. Give your time, attention, understanding, compassion, care - all are gifts, which paradoxically, you also receive in the process of giving. And, as you do, you will experience your own self esteem and inner strength grow. In this way you can turn tolerance into strength.

Peaceful Soul
Always maintain the awareness- I am a peaceful soul, and allow peace to influence your thinking and judgement.

Peace of Mind
Peace of mind comes not from wanting to change others, but by simply accepting them as they are.

Exercise and Diet
Unhealthy lifestyles are rooted in the mind and seeded in the soul. The spiritual exercise of the mind involves taking the mind out of the physical body and to the subtle, angelic body of light and then to our state of being a soul - a sentient point of light and power. As for diet control, pure thoughts are the healthy diet for the mind. Creative thoughts are like vitamins and positive thoughts provide proteins that build will power, while thoughts of serving others are like carbohydrates, which provide energy for the mind.

Relationships
Good feelings for others are like ointments that heal wounds and re-establish friendship and relationships. Good feelings are generated in the mind, are transmitted through your attitude and are reflected through your eyes and smile. Smiling opens the heart and a glance can make miracles happen.

Lotus Life
The lotus is a symbol of purity. Its roots are in the mud, but the flower remains above dirty water. Live a lotus life. Be in the world, but unaffected by impurities.

Courage
Make courage your companion and you will continue to succeed in everything you do.

Anger
Anger is not a natural emotion. Even the most angry person cannot remain angry always.

Look Before You Leap
Whatever actions you perform, check the consequences and then perform that action. Then you will never say "I don't know how this happened. I didn't mean it to happen." If you do not pay attention, lines of tension then become visible on your face.

Give Up the Habit of Worrying
As we grow in strength in our spiritual life, we give up the habit of worrying. It serves no purpose other than to make us feel tense and miserable. When I stop fretting about things that are beyond my control and focus instead on generating optimistic and kind thoughts, my life can begin to flow in ever more positive directions. Such a light and easy approach to life enables me to take everything in my stride.

Congratulations
To remain cheerful, congratulate the self and congratulate others on their speciality.

Rest Easy
Rest does not come with sleeping, it comes with waking. This is both an insight and an action of enlightenment. When we are enlightened we realise that real rest is possible only when we become free of illusion and we no longer struggle against life. Illusion is the idea that people should be, and do, what we want them to. The truth is, all is as it should be, despite appearances, or our perceptions of others to the contrary. This means you can be easy on yourself, easy with others and easy with the world around you. Easiness is a virtue, an attractive one at that. It is much more influential than force. So quit forcing, end the struggling and...relax!

86,400 Seconds
Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with £86,400. Every evening whatever part of the balance you fail to use during the day is deleted. What would you do? Draw out every penny and use it well, of course!!! Each of us has such a bank - Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Invest the day's deposits well, or the loss is yours. How could you bring the most contentment, happiness and benefit to yourself and others? The clock is running.

Positive Thoughts
Positive thoughts are like good software that helps us to perform to the best of our abilities.

Self - Sovereignty
Subservience to my negativity is a very precarious existence as I can never be sure how well I will handle a difficult situation. With practice it is possible to create appreciative and compassionate thoughts; then I no longer need to indulge in resentment, bitterness or dislike. Training myself to react calmly and wisely offers enormouse dividends. Let me talk to myself silently with love and encouragement, balanced with firmness, and like the wise old sovereigns of fairy stories, let me rule the inner kingdom of my mind with benevolence.

Training myself to react calmly and wisely offers enormous dividends. The Game of Life
By seeing life as a game, your lightness of spirit will make problems seem easier.

Contentment
To be content with a little is a great wealth.

Eternal Treasures
In the ocean of silence you may discover your eternal treasures of peace, love and happiness. In silence, you can let bad feelings and past sorrows dissolve. In silence you can hear the whisper of God saying "Come child and rest with Me. You are a peaceful soul."

Practice makes you perfect so be careful what you practice!

Gentleness
Non-violence is a very deep philosophy. Not only does it require me to harm no one physically, but also to avoid harming anyone's self-respect. Such an ethic requires tremendous awareness and sensitvity. When I have learned to be gentle with myself, I can be the same with others.

Much Loved
Sow seeds of peace by remaining rooted in the awareness of how loved, loveable amd loving you are.

Communication
In prayer you communicate with God, in meditation God communicates with you.

A Moment Of Solitude
When I start the day with a moment of solitude and contemplation, even the most crowded schedule runs more smoothly.

Peace and Good Feelings
Fill your mind with peace and good feelings and your mind will give that experience in return. Whatever you are experiencing in your mind now is what you put there earlier on.

Kind Thoughts
Great souls take advantage of every moment and every opportunity to give happiness to others through kindness in their thoughts; such souls are willing to overlook weaknesses and mistakes and have the desire to help everyone reach their potential.

The Final Analysis
People are often unreasonable, self-centred: Forgive them anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you, but be honest anyway. What you spend years to build, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway. You see, in the final analysis it is between you and God; it never was between you and them anyway.

Busy People
We live in the age of ‘busy’. Busy people not only do a lot, they think a lot. Being lost in thought, is not only tiring and a brilliant way of waste energy, it’s as if we have forgotten the very ground of our being which is still and silent. Learn to meditate and turn the eye of your attention and awareness within, let your mind be quiet and allow your being to be still.

Pure and Gentle
Success is merged in every step of those who have a pure and gentle nature.

The Science of Happiness
The fewer desires you have, the happier you will be. Having the right information (truth) leads to contentment. Having the right understanding of the self, our purpose, our origins and our true relationships should free us from the cycles of boom and bust and lead society to that ultimate happiness.

Forgiveness
Why is it hard to forgive others? Usually because we believe that they are 90% to blame for the problem, that I am not as bad as they are. So I start to carry the load of other people's actions. If my ego is too hurt, I will have the sense of correction, of justice: 'I know I am right', 'That is not fair'. But if I start to forgive from the heart, sincerely, then this kind of feeling and attitude begins to dissolve. I remain humble and this forgiveness will bring me closer to others. Then I do not carry regrets or anger, I just let go and remain light.

Inner Beauty
"Wow...that's beautiful!" Is either a cry or a thought when faced with the mountain sunset, a spectacular view or a well formed man or woman. But where is the beauty, where is the appreciation of beauty, where is the ability to discern beauty? It is within our own consciousness. For the essence of who and what we are is beauty itself. The essence of beauty is not found in the body, a face or a mountain - they only stir the essence of beauty within our own spirit. And that beauty is not only something we taste within ourselves, but it emerges in our character as virtue, and in our life as care. For what is virtue, but love in action. The next time you say, "That's beautiful!" know that you speak of yourself, and it is you who are beautiful. Always were, always will be.

When the mind is tired, every single action requires great effort.

Giving Happiness
The happiness you give makes you more happy than the happiness you receive.

Authority
Real power and authority is not power and authority over others, but over the self.

Manners
When we encounter good manners, we feel that some deeper part of us has been honoured. Truly, none of us deserves anything less.

Reduce your desires and your problems will be reduced.

Thought For Days

The Influence Of Gossip
I cannot afford to overlook the influence that other people have on me. To what extent do I check that I am not being influenced by gossip? Negativity in the mind is like poison. Negative thoughts are the seeds of negative actions. Gossip and guessing bring sorrow, heaviness and distrust. Hear no evil. See no evil. Speak no evil. Think no evil.
Cheerfulness
Cheerfulness keeps up the spirit of the one who possesses it, and brings a smile to the lips of others.
Respect
Have the heart to forgive souls for being who they are not, and the respect that inspires souls to become who they are.
Part of Me
If I keep the weaknesses of others in my mind, they soon become a part of me.
The Wonder of Silence
The disease of anger needs the medicine of tolerance; the pain of disappointment needs the medicine of hope; the violence of revenge and spite needs forgiveness; fear needs courage ego needs self-respect. Through inner silence we receive the strength to heal.
Spiritual Healthcare
Silence, happiness, love and blessings are important aspects. Happiness leads to good health. It is only you who can give this medicine to yourself. Some bring illness to themselves through anger, greed, unfullfilled desires, expectations, suppression of feelings and relationships not based on true love. Look in your heart, you will know where your illness comes from. There are three ingredients for a long and healthy life: live with attention but without worry; use time in a worthwhile way; keep your thoughts pure, positive and filled with strength.
Love All
Love can never be exclusive. The sun does not choose to shine on some flowers in the garden and not others. Love is inclusive and has many faces - caring, listening, sharing from the heart, just accepting someone for what they are right now, are all acts of love, as long as you seek nothing in return. It all starts with acceptance of yourself - you're just fine as you are right now, warts and all. It's not that you will stay that way for ever - but you might, if you don't accept. The secret key to the greatest door called love is acceptance. First your self, then others (especially the ones you currently resist) and eventually ...all.
Talking to the self
When you talk to yourself in your mind, which self do you address? And how? Usually people do not talk to their divinity, but to the most superficial aspects of their everyday personality. And often its a stream of fears, complaints and mindless repetition of old things. If we talked that way to another human being, we would have to apologise. Learning to talk properly to the self is a spiritual endeavour. Thoughts from the past and worries about the future do not create good conversation. Instead learn to talk to your mind as if it were a child. Talk to it with love. If you just force a child to sit down, he won't. A good mother knows how to prompt her child into doing what she wants. Be a good mother to your mind, teach it good, positive thoughts so that when you tell it to sit quietly, it will. Love your mind. Stay happy.
Charity
To give happiness to others is a great act of charity.
Balance
You maintain the balance of responding to situations with a cool head and to people with a warm heart.
Gentleness
Move through the world with the grace of an angel, the dignity of a king and the wisdom of a child.
Attraction
Like attracts like. Whatever the conscious mind thinks and believes, the subconscious identically creates.
Determination and Patience
Determination is the strength that will enable you to pass the barrier of useless thoughts in order to create positive thoughts and to be successful in whatever you wish. It comes from within and its partner is patience. Patience teaches you not to push but rather to wait and appreciate the game of life instead, knowing that nothing remains the same, and everything will change at some point.
Spiritual Language
To create the future we desire we need a spiritual language; we must speak from the heart and in the language of the soul - a language of trust, faith and higher values, of inner growth, love and listening.
Doing Your Best
As you do, so you become. Every action that you perform is recorded in you, the soul. These imprints ultimately mould your character and destiny. When you understand this principle, you will pay more attention to bringing your best to everything you do.
In The Mind
Freedom starts in the mind, not by cutting ropes.

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

Today I just finished download this movie. When I watched it, I broke into tears after half of the movie. The part where the owner of the dog, a college professor died after heart attack. After the death of the professor, the dog, Hachiko would everyday went to the train station to wait for the professor. However, the professor did not appear. Hachiko had been waiting for the professor to appear in front of the door of th station since the professor's death til Hachiko died. It's a long time, years to go. It's a touching movie and true story. One of the touching is where Hachi finally caughtthe ball. Since Hachi was adopted he was taught to catch ball. But, he never caught it. On the day the professor went to work Hachi took the ball to the train station and played with the professor. Finally, he caught the ball threw by the professor. The professor was delighted and took the ball to work. This was the last time the professor was at the station. On that day, he passed away. Seems like Hachi knew it was his last chance played the ball with the professor.

This is Hachi in real life
In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life Hachikō saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered a stroke at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting.Hachikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he did not see his friend among the commuters at the station. The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait. This continued for 10 years, with Hachikō appearing only in the evening time, precisely when the train was due at the station. (Originated from wikipedia)

This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love. (Originated from www.imdb.com)

The bronze statue of Hachiko
Just like the last part of the movie, of what the grandson of the professor say, his granfather and Hachi had taught him being loyalty. We should not forget the one we love and Hachi would be his hero forever.

Thought For Days

Good Wishes
By freely sharing your wealth of good wishes, you earn the guarantee of a right to happiness.
Meditation
A racing mind that reacts sensitively to little things indicates thinking that has lost its spiritual strength. Meditation restores that power.
Peaceful Soul
Always maintain the awareness- I am a peaceful soul, and allow peace to influence your thinking and judgement.
Character
Body is visible in a mirror. But character is visible in actions.
Secrets
Acceptance is the secret of contentment. Appreciation is the secret of happiness.
Consider The Consequences
Become very, very sweet. Remove even the slightest trace of anger. Whatever you think, whatever you say, consider carefully all the consequences beforehand. By performing actions knowing their consequences, success is definitely experienced.
Patience
Patience and more patience enable a closed mind to gently unfurl.

Home Sweet Home??

When I was studying in KL, I would always think that home sweet home when I went back home for holiday.. For me, my home is a place where I search for comfort and safeness.. I like staying home and will be at home whole day without going out.
But now, home isn't safe for me.. It's make me feel worry and uncomfortable since my house got 'problem'. A problem that cannot be solve immediately. I scare that the house will collapse during our sleep or when we were outside. Not that I like to think the negative side, just that the condition of the house force me to have some negative thought. How I wish now we have stay in the other house and not this. May be I think too much.. Now, I just need pray harder..

However, there's a but again, we can't abandon this place as I have been living here since I was borned. 24 years.. A long long time.. Besides, my grandma is here.. I think she doesn't think of leaving this place..

So.. maybe 'Home Sweet Home' but not 'House Sweet House'

Thought For DaysSilence

Silence
Anger spoils the beauty of the soul, silence regains it.
Give Love To Everyone
If I limit the love I give to just one or two, it will eventually go stale. If I learn to create love inside my heart and silently give it to everyone I meet, love will grace every corner of my life.
GOODNESS
When I become excessively critical towards others, it means I am going in the wrong direction. We are usually very good at spotting mistakes, but we should develop the quality of also spotting goodness. If I can see what is good in others or in situations and go beyond the curtain of negativity, I feel good about myself. If I constantly think "he is wrong", I instead create a barrier which blocks me from reaching my own goodness.
Give Happiness
One who gives happiness cannot give sorrow. One who gives sorrow, cannot give happiness. Where there is happiness there cannot be sorrow.
Hope
Do not lose hope in those who have lost hope.
Love, Purity, Peace, Wisdom
When you build a house, every brick counts. When you build a character, every thought counts. You are what you think. Love, purity, peace, wisdom - the more you think of these qualities, the more you will become them.
Keep Faith
To limit your faith to one set of beliefs or an institutional belief system is to commit intellectual suicide. We shut down the possibility of being enlightened and enriched by others' experiences, which may be derived from their beliefs. We build a barrier between ourselves and our fellow travellers and then feel threatened, even in small and subtle ways, by someone of a different faith. The deepest faith is the intuitive conviction that all is as it should be, despite appearances, and that every human being is intrinsically good, despite appearances. This reminds us to keep our minds open, not take the law into our own hands, and look out for the best in others, regardless of what they say or do. This is faith in life, not faith in a set of learned or inherited beliefs. Have you ever noticed how people don't go to war over their faith in life?
Tolerance
If you realise that everyone is an individual with their own unique part to play, then the power of tolerance is easy to develop.
Lasting Fragrance
Tread lightly upon this earth, seeing, understanding but never imposing. Thoughtful, independent, be gracious in victory and defeat. Free of possessiveness, so ease of mind sweetens relationships. Like the scent of a rose the untroubled spirit imparts a lasting fragrance.
Unconditional Acceptance
Accepting the self and others unconditionally allows everyone to remove their masks and feel at ease with who they are.
Sweetness
Sweetness is a virtue that searches with patience for the good in every person and situation.
Inner Calm
The greater the demands on me, the more I need to sustain my inner calm and stability.
Honesty
Honesty is to speak that which is thought and to do that which is spoken. There are no contradictions or discrepancies in thoughts, words or actions.
Spiritual Love
It is when we silence the chattering of our mind that we can truly hear what is in our heart and find the still, clear purity that lies within the soul. Spiritual love carries us into the silence of our original state of being. This silence contains the power to create harmony in all relationships and the sweetness to sustain them.
