My Favourite Spot

Yesterday, I helped my mum to clean and organise some parts of my house. I helped her to clear the books and some unused items. It took me all the morning to clear one of the rooms of my house. As there were many things in that room, we almost could not see the surface of the table. The table looked so untidy and make me eyeshore sometimes. I took me few hours to clear the items. Finally, we can see the surface of the table. But, some books, bibles, bags and laptop bags have to put on the desk also. As there are no space to put them. But, at least we still can see some part of the desk and it looks tidy.

After taking the lunch, I start tidying the shelf behind of my house. Before that, I like this spot as my family and I put the books we buy there. The shelf is full with books. There were many school magazines, reference books and old books on the shelf. So, I decided to clear them out. Then, there are more places for new books.

After clearing the unused books out, there are only dictionaries, magazines, readers' digest, novels and so on. Now , this is one of my favourite spot in my home. I like passing by the shelf to have a lookk on the shelf. It looks more tidy and clear to see.

This is the whole view of the shelf. Three level and I think is full already.

This two levels just contain chinese and english books. I just finished half of them only.

This is the best part. The authors that I like the most. Jodi Picoult, Dan Brown and Mitch Albom. I want to collection the books that they write. Make it a collection for the three authors.

I have a dream and wish. I dream of having a room filled with books that I like. Like library. Then when I'm free, I can sit down in the room and enjoy my free time. Hope that this dream can come true.

Thought For Days

Happiness
It is the art of living, the purpose of our existence. Happiness is the true index of quality of life. Without happiness, life is dry and meaningless. With happiness, life immediately becomes fulfilling and wonderful. Happiness is an infectious feeling that immediately lifts the sagging spirits of people. Happy people keep themselves happy because they know the little ways to appreciate themselves and to see the humour and magic in each moment.

Be Content
Wherever I am is wherever I am meant to be, whatever I am doing is whatever I am meant to be doing and whatever everyone else is doing is exactly what they are meant to be doing - this is contentment. If you do want to change where you are, or what you are doing, the first thing is to be content with wherever you are and whatever you are doing right now! Paradoxically that's what attracts opportunities and invitations to be somewhere else! Why? Because you are a living magnet, and contentment is one of your most attractive qualities. And the law of attraction says that according to your dominant thoughts so you will attract the people and circumstances into your life. Being content right now attracts the best possible future.

Integrity
When the thoughts we think are the same as the words we speak, others will feel our integrity.

Treasures
All human beings have a place inside which is filled with treasures; be still and you will find it.

Be At Peace
You spend most of your life running after things, doing things. You forget that being comes before doing. Those who remember this secret make an effort to "be" and discover that when they stop and observe, life helps and brings whatever is needed. Learning to be is learning to be at peace. It is our most fundamental nature.

Start Early
The best time to awaken both body and spirit is in the early morning. We are fresh, in solitude, and the vibrations of the world are at their calmest. It is not surprising that you will find all experienced meditators and yogis up with the dawn, inviting the sun of spirit to shine into the heart of their soul. The first half hour of conscious awareness will be the foundation of your day. Make an early start. Meditate, set the switch of your consciousness and calibrate your energy for the day. You'll be surprised the difference it makes.

The Virtue of Sweetness
Just as eating and serving something sweet makes your taste buds feel sweetness, and for a while after, you remain happy, become sweet-natured yourself so that words filled with sweetness are constantly spoken. Such sweet words make both you and others happy. Use this method to always sweeten everyone's mouth; constantly maintain sweet attitude, sweet words and sweet actions.

Happiness
It is the art of living, the purpose of our existence. Happiness is the true index of quality of life. Without happiness, life is dry and meaningless. With happiness, life immediately becomes fulfilling and wonderful. Happiness is an infectious feeling that immediately lifts the sagging spirits of people. Thought For Days

Acceptance‏
Acceptance is the secret of contentment. Appreciation is the secret of happiness.

Jewel Of Happiness‏
You are a jewel of happiness who sparkles with the wisdom of knowing that all will be well.

Wisdom
You are a wise soul who unlocks the mysteries of life by beginning with the self.

Virtues
Sweetness is the taste of all virtues. Patience is the fortress of all virtues. Cheerfulness is the evidence of all virtues.

Detachment
Detachment does not mean we don't care about what is going on in the world. Detachment does not mean coldness or hardness. It just means we learn to stand back and observe for a moment. Detachment gives us that 'space of time' to create a measured response and not to be overruled by habitual reaction.

Enthusiasm
Those who are fired with an enthusiastic idea and who allow it to take hold and dominate their thoughts find that new worlds open for them. As long as enthusiasm holds out, so will new opportunities.

Change
When there is growth, changes are automatic, if I fear change, how can there be growth?

Positive Thinking‏
Positive thinking and optimistic outlook will never produce bad results. Negative thinking and pessimistic approach will never produce good results. Positive thinkers will never fail. Negative thinkers will never succeed.

Generosity‏
Generosity of spirit increases everything we have and gives us everything we need.

Live Fully
They say 'only fools live to the full'. Because only fools go where most of us fear to go, only fools do what many of us spend our lives avoiding. You don't have to climb Mount Everest, or cross the world in a hot air balloon to live to the full. Simply enter each day with a commitment not to avoid anything or anybody who comes your way. Then your Everests will come to you, in the form of difficult people and challenging situations, and the only thing you will need to conquer is our own fear and evasions. And when you do conquer, you will know that you have lived fully, for there is nothing more exhilarating than overcoming our own obstacles which, if the truth were known, are always only in our own minds. When you turn to face these inner obstacles and challenges some people call this real courage and you certainly are no fool.

Be Gentle
Non-violence is a very deep philosophy. Not only does it require me to harm no one physically, but also to avoid harming anyone's self-respect. Such an ethic requires tremendous awareness and sensitivity. When I have learned to be gentle with myself, I can be the same with others.

Clear Vision‏
If you miss an opportunity, do not cloud your eyes with tears; keep your vision clear so that you will not miss the next one.

A Caring Heart
I express my care and concern by responding to situations with a cool head and to people with a warm heart. If I remain aware that as fellow human beings we are all part of one family, and that even the smallest of gestures can make a difference in people's lives, I am always blessed with a caring heart. It takes so little to show that I care yet it can mean so much.

Faith

When I am continuously being battered by the storms of life, and my very spirit is ebbing away, then all I need to do is hang onto that gift called 'Faith', that one support which will weather the storms. Faith does not depend on a clever head, only belief: belief in the self and the strength that lies within. Faith is the seed of victory and the foundation of making the impossible possible.

The Spirit of Generosity
Generosity means more than just giving. It also means to cooperate with others. The greatest act of generosity is to see beyond the weaknesses of others, helping them to recognise their innate value.

Few weeks later, it will be christmas. This is the first time I celebrate this day with my family since I studied in KL. Besides, my brother and sister are coming home for their holidays.

This year, I really have some wishes for my christmas. I can make it a list, I think.

One of my wishes is to pass my acca exam and get a good job. Hope that these wishes can come true.

I'm here to wish my family and friends 'MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR'.
