A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

"A Thousand Years"

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

One step closer
One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

Thought For Days

Divine Help
Many times people report the feeling of divine help and strength when they come close to breaking point. Actually divine help is always there, but I am usually so busy doing things in my own little way that I only look for it when I face absolute defeat. The tranquil nature of enlightened souls comes from their ability to take God's help constantly. A state of true surrender will lead to the feeling of victory in everything I do.

Bring Light
There is some darkness in most human minds today, so there is a darkness component in most scenes and situations. Why else is there so much unhappiness and sorrow in the world? So how much value can be given to someone who is able to bring light and lightness to a place or a moment, where others have brought their dark? Like a crown of sparkling jewels, their presence and their words are priceless. It may only be a gentle smile of comfort, an attitude of genuine interest, some words which diffuse an awkward moment. Those who stay light in spirit while others weave their dark are both illuminated and illuminators. Watch out for such a moment today where you may illuminate. Make that moment momentous!

Create Vision
Never believe anyone who says we cannot change. Vision is one of the secrets of personal transformation. We are all artists, our mind is the arena of creation and vision is what we are constantly creating. What is your vision of yourself today – patient, relaxed, positive or tense, tight and negative? What do you prefer? So be creative – what does patience look like, feel like, what are you doing that is different when you are patient and you are expressing your power to …wait? Always start with vision not action. See it and you will be it. Be it and you will do it. We don’t ‘get a life’ as some would cynically tell us – we create our life.

Think No Evil.
"See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."
Do not even think evil, because first you think of something, then you speak of it, then you see it.

Simplicity and Royalty
There's great beauty in simplicity. It's not plainness, however it is plain in the sense that words and actions are enacted with great royalty, full awareness and with so much significance. Simplicity takes us away from artificialities, it simply accepts and in that acceptance shows us grace and humility in every circumstance.

Riches
The greatest good we can do for others is not to share our riches with them, but to reveal to them their own.

Your Own Truth
To follow someone else's truth is a trap. The best strategy is to know your own truth, face it and live by it. Others may inspire, guide, give you directions, but ultimately you have to cut your own way through the jungle. You could always be asking others where North is, and they will tell you. Someone will say North is this way and someone else that North is that other way - and both would have been sincere. But you alone have to find your true North.

Hard To Forgive
Why is it hard to forgive others? Usually because we believe that they are 90% to blame for the problem, that I am not as bad as they are. So I start to carry the load of other people's actions. If my ego is too hurt, I will have the sense of correction, of justice: 'I know I am right', 'That is not fair'. But if I start to forgive from the heart, sincerely, I remain humble and this forgiveness will bring me closer to others. Then I do not carry regrets or anger, I just let go and remain light.

Patience
Patience is a reflection of the peaceful mind. My peaceful mind is able to cope with all situations without becoming disturbed and agitated. It calmly accepts the resolution of circumstances and, with this patience acquires the power to deal with all situations.

The Value of Enthusiasm
To be free from carelessness is to be constantly enthusiastic.
Carelessness has a tendency to spread from one person to another. When I see someone working carelessly, I need to remain strong within myself and pay close attention to my work. This will help me to move ahead with enthusiasm.

The Spiritual Aspect Of Healthcare
Silence, happiness, love and blessings are important aspects. Happiness leads to good health. It is only you who can give this medicine to yourself. Some bring illness to themselves through anger, greed, unfullfilled desires, expectations, suppression of feelings and relationships not based on true love. Look in your heart, you will know where your illness comes from. There are three ingredients for a long and healthy life: live with attention but without worry; use time in a worthwhile way; keep your thoughts pure, positive and filled with strength.

Self Respect
To transform the ordinary into something special is to be truly fortunate.
When I respect myself and acknowledge the strengths and talents that make me unique, I connect with my inner self. I realise I have power within to make everything I do, even the most ordinary act - special. Then I become truly fortunate.

Complete Everything
A task left undone remains undone in two places - at the actual location of the task, and inside your head. Incomplete tasks in your head consume the energy of your attention as they gnaw at your conscience. They syphon off a little more of your personal power every time you delay. No need to be a perfectionist, that's debilitating in an imperfect world, but it's good to be a 'completionist'. If you start it, finish it...or forget it. Do it - or dump it!

The Rejuvenating Power Of Silence
Silence has to be love-filled. Love actually inspires and moves all things towards their original freedom and happiness.

The Secret Of Good Health
The secret of good health is good nourishment and exercise. We need daily nourishing food and exercise to maintain a healthy body and it takes care and attentiom to fulfil this responsibility. Making the effort underlines our value and importance as a human being. However, the human spirit needs the same attention in the form of the thoughts we have and how the mind puts them to use. Feeding both body and mind with nourishing food gives a powerful and consistent message to respect and co-operate with one another. This is holistic good health.

Be Here Now
Treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time. Remember that time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow a mystery. Today is a gift... That's why it's called the present.

Pellentesque in sollicitudin urna. Donec vel tortor metus, id consequat leo. Phasellus in neque eget quam ultricies elementum vel in diam. Donec turpis ligula, tristique quis adipiscing et, lobortis in augue.

Staying Focused
The one who keeps their destination in focus will be successful.
As we travel toward our destination, it’s easy to get distracted. We sometimes become so busy thinking about little things that affect our lives that we lose focus and stop moving forward.
First I need to clarify my goal, then think about how I’m going to work toward it. When situations arise to distract me I need to remind myself that they are only sideshows; they are not important. Instead, to find success, I need to keep my energies focused on my destination.

Abundance
Abundance is to see that there are endless possibilities before us. And at the same time, still see an incredibly rich existence right where we are. It is a feeling of gratitude for everything and everyone we have in our life.

The Power to Adjust
Often when we have to adjust to a person or a situation, we experience many negative thoughts. We find it difficult and tend to feel we are making this adjustment only for the other person's benefit.
To adjust means to understand that nothing can be done to change a situation - it is more sensible to accept it. I adjust not because it will benefit others, but because I will benefit in the long run. This is like crossing a physical obstacle; I cannot remove it so I have to find a way around it if I am to progress.

The Virtue of Sweetness
Just as eating and serving something sweet makes your taste buds feel sweetness, and for a while after, you remain happy, become sweet-natured yourself so that words filled with sweetness are constantly spoken. Such sweet words make both you and others happy. Use this method to always sweeten everyone's mouth; constantly maintain sweet attitude, sweet words and sweet actions.

The Weak, The Brave And The Strong
Anger is weakness,
tolerance is bravery.
Humility makes you strong.

Open Mind
The mind is like a parachute - it works best when it is open. How quickly we make assumptions, jump to conclusions and close our mind. How easily we form and hold fast to our opinions and then close our mind. How fast do we make a judgement, slap on a label and then close our mind. A closed mind never knows the delight of playing with possibilities, being enlightened by others point of view or enjoying the diversity of human life. An open and understanding mind never assumes, doesn't jump to conclusions and won't hold fast to any opinion. Perhaps it is no wonder a closed mind is not a very relaxed mind.

Balance
The indication of balance in life is a sense of well-being, optimism and a clear conscience. The foundation for achieving this is to look after myself spiritually - making my mind peaceful, loving and thoughtful at all times. Then I will instinctively know how much time to spend on my own well-being and how much on fulfilling other responsibilities. I can only give my best to others when I am myself at my best.

Determined Thought
The power of determined thought gives a lot of strength. Where there is determination there is definitely success.

Spotting Goodness
When I become excessively critical towards others, it means I am going in the wrong direction. We are usually very good at spotting mistakes, but we should develop the quality of also spotting goodness. If I can see what is good in others or in situations and go beyond the curtain of negativity, I feel good about myself. If I constantly think "he is wrong", I instead create a barrier which blocks me from reaching my own goodness. A very ancient law says: "just as I treat others, I shall be treated by others.

Touching Hearts
Move through life with lightness, touching the hearts of others without leaving a mark.

Kindness
Great souls take advantage of every moment and every opportunity to give happiness to others through kindness in their thoughts; such souls are willing to overlook weaknesses and mistakes and have the desire to help everyone reach their potential.

Free Mind
A free mind is a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing. Most people spend much of their time looking for reasons to be offended. An open mind is never offended because it is free of any attachments. It is never the self that is offended but always the illusion that the self has of itself that is affected by insult! If you can really understand this, deeply grasp it's truth, live it each day, then pain will be no more. Next time you 'feel' offended look closely within yourself at yourself and ask yourself what was offended? If you remain aware you will see that it was only an image of yourself which you had become attached to, and that image did not resonate with the image contained in the insult. If you weren't attached, if you didn't identify with the wrong image of yourself then there would be no offence taken. You would then remain free and therefore happy.

Inspirations
The soul flies, the body plods. If you identify with your body, you will feel heavy. If you think you are a soul, you will feel light.

Self-Sovereignty
Subservience to my negativity is a very precarious existence as I can never be sure how well I will handle a difficult situation. With practice it is possible to create appreciative and compassionate thoughts; then I no longer need to indulge in resentment, bitterness or dislike. Training myself to react calmly and wisely offers enormous dividends. Let me talk to myself silently with love and encouragement, balanced with firmness, and like the wise old sovereigns of fairy stories, let me rule the inner kingdom of my mind with benevolence.

Getting on with it...
Worrying about how everything will get done or whether I am capable of doing it limits my ability to respond to challenges considerably. The less I think about doing something and the faster I just get on with it, the fewer problems I cause myself. Good planning is always helpful, but time spent fretting and procrastinating is a major drain on my energy. The more willing I am to respond positively to opportunities, the more my capacity will grow.

Introversion - My Inner Landscape
The ability to enjoy one's own company is one of the greatest gifts life has to offer. Learning to turn my thoughts away from all my responsibilities at the day's end and take my mind into a state of peace and benevolence enables me to carry greater and greater loads without feeling the burden. When my inner landscape is full of beautiful thoughts, everything I do is a pleasure. Gently, I calm down chaotic situations and offer solace to troubled minds.

Members of a Great Family
Values are related to each other as if they were members of a great family . From peace and happiness emerges inner joy. From this state of wholeness love awakens and with is the desire to share and give . Two of its relatives are tolerance and respect. All values have a shared origin which unites them - the peace of spirituality. When you lose peace you begin to lose everything.

Get Deep
Deep inside our consciousness is an oasis of peace. This is the molten core of the soul, but it is not hot, it is cool. Not passive, but a source of inner power to fuel our mind and intellect, so that we can create powerful thoughts and make accurate decisions. If you can learn to go to this centre, peace will be your companion, positivity your partner, and you will be able to chill out in one second, anywhere, anytime. Returning to the centre of your self is the journey of one second. It is the regular destination of clever souls. And it is the source of your power and peace.

This Theatre of Life
Ignorance makes you believe that life functions haphazardly. Wisdom teaches you that everything that happens in this theatre of life has profound significance. What you see today is not the fruit of chance but a fruit from seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and you will create a life of peace in the future.

Change
Knowing that all things move in cycles reminds us that what is uncomfortable now will soon change.

Manage Emotions
When the energy of our consciousness is out of our control - the mind is agitated. We are being emotional. The solution is to detach from the inner storms, stand back and observe the hurricane pass. Detached observation withdraws the energy which your emotions require to sustain themselves. When you watch your own anger, it dies. If you don't detach from it, and observe it ...it will be your master. Today is the day to practice positive, detached observation, and each emotion-filled moment is the opportunity. This is 'real' work. The work of one who is a master of their own consciousness. Are you a master or a slave?

Understanding
Most people don't understand themselves or others. we need to make time for this. We get too impatient. Very often, because we are not willing to take this time, misunderstandings continue. We don't take time to listen to someone quietly and try to understand them. Then we start inventing things about them, because we simply haven't taken the time to understand.

True love
True love means creating an environment where others can grow. In relationships, we often expect things from those we get close to. These expectations can stifle the other person and also stop us from allowing the other person to develop in a way that is right for them.

The Beauty Within
You see behind the masks and beneath the fears to the beauty within every heart.

Cripple Effect
What goes around comes around is not a new insight. It is something most of us intuitively know but easily forget, as we attempt to hold on to most things which come to us. What we don't realise is the ripple effect can easily become the cripple effect. Everything we think and do not only ripples out into the world, it also creates an impression on our own consciousness inside. If one day you decide to get really angry (very unrelaxing) at someone, then you create a memory of your irritation and carve a kind of scar or groove on your consciousness (non-physical of course). Within this scar or groove is a recording of the image of the person as you have decided to perceive them, and the energy of your anger surrounding that image. Remember, you put it there, not them. Two days later you see the same person and that triggers the image and the anger which you have already recorded within. The emotional turbulence inside your consciousness makes it very hard for you to remain positive, connect and communicate effectively, positively and harmoniously with them. In effect you are crippled and clouded by your own emotion. Most of us experience this, sometimes many times a day, but refuse to see that we cripple ourselves, preferring to blame the other person. Which is why we can stay crippled for a long time and not even realise it.

Heart of a Butterfly
"...the caterpillar has the heart of a butterfly!” It is true that if we know within our hearts what we want to become, then we will become that.

Friendship
Any worthwhile realtionship is based on friendship. True friendship is a great blessing. Friendship creates respectful space; a space of encouragement to be one's self. Friendship creates a trust that nurtures self-esteem.

Trust
When we think we can do things without other people's help, it means we have become arrogant or are unable to trust others. This lack of trust means we miss the chance to use others' potential for the benefit of the task in hand. We are deprived of a useful resource and will not achieve as much as we could by working together.

The Value of Openess
I need to keep my mind constantly open to learning in order to experience constant progress. When I have this attitude I learn from everything that happens. Then I will be able to improve in each and every task.

At Ease
Every moment is precious. Let me fill myself with so much peace and stability that whoever comes in front of me at any time is at ease and uplifted.

Lost and Found
Being lost in thought, thinking about things to do, what's been done, what could have been done... is not only tiring but also a brilliant way to waste energy. It diminishes your peacefulness and clouds your clarity. Every time you become lost in thought it means exactly that - you are lost! To find yourself, allow your mind to become quiet, to become utterly tranquil. In the quiet depths of every being, there is a stillness that contains a deep inner peace and wisdom that can guide you in your life.

Send Peace
The call of time is to send thoughts of peace and power to the world. Your thoughts travel, moving at a great speed and with considerable impact. Let the thought of peace sit in your mind, knowing that the vibes from your thoughts can radiate out and touch any person, any place.

The Cause of all Conflicts
Desires cause peace to disappear. You think that acquiring things will make you feel secure, but the reality is that the more you have the more fear there usually is of losing it, and the further you are from peace. Desires are the cause of all conflicts. When you want something and cannot get it you become frustrated. Learning to be free from desires is learning how to stay peaceful.

A Day of Simplicity
Peace is simplicity. Simplicity is beauty. Choose a day as your day of simplicity. Speak little, and listen with attention. Do something incognito and nice for a person you are close to. Eat simple and natural food. Create time periods for not doing anything - just walk, look around, live the moment. Have your mind open to a more profound and silent sensitivity. Appreciate each scene and each person as they are. In the evening, write down your discoveries. Observe the state of your mind.

Free of Fear
The secret of happiness is to be free of fear. Fear is like a toxin that runs through much of our thinking. It feeds on insecurity, feeling of loss, loneliness, inadequacy and attachment. You are loveable and loving. Accept this as Truth. Appreciate and care for yourself - truly, deeply, intensely, in a way that reflects your real value. Then you will automatically have the same regards for all other living beings and things.

Help Yourself
Unfortunately these two words tend to describe the generally selfish and materialistic culture in which most of us live. They result not in self-help but in dependency. Our education and our role models do not encourage us to help ourselves to grow, change and expand our capacities as human beings. Real self-help means recognising that no one else is responsible for our thoughts and feelings, and that we are only ever victims because we choose to be. Our destiny is always and only in our own hands - despite all apparent evidence which may indicate otherwise. Learning to help ourselves is also a prerequisite to extending a hand of assistance to others. We all need a leg up from time to time, but once there, we are always on our own.

Think BIG
Rise above little things. Be a big thinker. You are what you think. So just think big, believe big, act big, dream big, work big, give big, forgive big, laugh big, image big, love big, live big. Carry that list and you'll start feeling big. Be a believer and you'll be an achiever.

Take Time To Laugh
Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul. Take time to think, it is the source of power. Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom. Take time to love and be loved, it is a God-given privilege. Take time to work, it is the price of success.

Fire of Anger
Imbibe the virtues of humility and patience and the fire of anger will become cool.

Thoughts, Words and Deeds
Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

Non-Violence
Non-violence is a very deep philosphy. Not only does it require me to harm no one physically, but also to avoid harming anyone's self respect. Such an ethic requires tremendous awareness and sensitivity. When I have learned to be gentle with myself, I can be the same with others.

Seeds Planted in the Past
Ignorance makes you believe that life functions haphazardly. Wisdom teaches you that everything that happens in this theatre of life has profound significance. What you see today is not the fruit of chance but a fruit from seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and you will create a life of peace in the future.

A Trickle in the Darkness
Contentment is like an underground river whose course just cannot be daunted. On the surface, people are stamping, pushing, pulling; the ground is cracking or left derelict but underneath the river is flowing, even if at some point it is only a trickle in the darkness.

Freedom
The true hero not only frees the self but has the capacity to free others from their dragons. Ultimately it is a state of being not action. Freedom can be called the state of purity, in which intentions and actions have become naturally benevolent.

Pratice Stopping
When you learn you drive, you have to practice stopping. In the same way, practice putting a stop to waste thoughts and you will be constantly happy.

Am I Happy?
If there is any sadness I make a strong effort to be free of it quickly, otherwise it grows like a vine in the rainy season: by midday I will be confused; by evening a whole jungle of weak, wasteful and negative attitudes will have taken deep roots in my mind. The result equals chaos. Sometimes I reach a stage where the attitude is: "So what if I feel the blues today? It is my life; no one else will be affected". Firstly, the more I allow myself to experience sorrow, the less time I have available to be happy and contented. It sounds ridiculously obvious, but am I aware of the value of happiness? It is an extremely rare commodity, and the cost goes sky high. Secondly, is it my life? Yes, I am living it, but am I not a member of a family or a co-worker with others, and am I not part of society? If so, then every movement affects and is affected by those around me.

Compassionate Soul
A compassionate soul will travel great distances and scale high walls in order to understand another point of view.

The Secret to Being Content
To be peaceful is to be free from expectations and to want nothing from anyone. Take the initiative and be generous. Lead the way and do something. This is the secret to being content in all circumstances.

Determination
Determination is an unbroken line, a backbone. Without determination life becomes scattered. Determination makes you sit up straight and love everything.

Self-Confidence
Self-confidence is to know your way around yourself so instinctively that you always have a strength to draw on. Somewhere inside, from the stillness, you always find something that can meet your need. Self-confidence runs much deeper than nerves.

Speech Economy
To be economical with words gets things done more easily. When we say too much, people switch off and stop listening. When I think carefully about what I need to communicate, I can do it with fewer words. Other people then become more willing to listen.

My Holidays....

Last 2 weeks I finally had a chance to put myself in an enjoying but tiring trip. My trip consisted of 3 places: Kuala Lumpur-Johor-Singapore. The trip was almost 10 days and 9 nights.. I went to the places with my best friend, Yik Chun. Long time didn't go out with her like that.

It had been almost 2 years I didn't went to KL since my last degree convocation. I got the chance to walk around the city and enjoy the foods that I crave for so long. Especially the korean food and Nando's. Finally, I can enjoyed the food.

This is the korean food that me n yc took on the 1st day of our trip when we had gathering with our friends in KL. I really liked these dishes. It really OMG when I put the food in my mouth.

When we were in KL, we kept on window shopping and bought things that we needed. Especially the comic books. Yc also had her mission on buying things for her family. It's a lot. I like to try new things especially food. On the 2nd day, I went to eat dinner with my mum. She met me after she went to my sis's convo. We went to a taiwanese cuisine restaurant at sg. weng. For me, the dishes were nice. I liked it very much.

This is the taiwanese cuisine we took for dinner.

Nando's, one of the favourite place I like to go when I studied at KL. I like the taste of the chicken as the side dishes also.
Thanks yc for buying the donuts from J Co. Having the chance to have McD breakfast at KL. Chicken rice from Universal Studio and dish from one of the food court in Singapore. The chicken rice especially took my breath away. Not that it's nice but the price it sold at the theme park in Singapore. it's like having gold decorate the chicken or the rice iis filled with gold. i never thought of chicken rice will be sold at this kind of price. $S10++. If convert to RM is like 'Wao'. Almost same price with the Nando's meal.

When in JB, we stayed at our friend's house, Xue Yan. Her parents welcomed us with crab bihun, her dad's best cooking. It's special for me as this is the first time I ate bihun like this. We stayed at her house for one night and went to Singapore together the next day.

Pictures we took together when we were at KL's gathering and my friend's wedding. Really long time no see them.. We really had a long chat..

This trip I got the chance to go to Singapore. This is the first time I stepped on the land of Singapore. When I took MRt for the first time carrying my luggage to go to my friend's house, it was like 'OMG, there are a lot of people.' People mountain people sea. I was like sardin when I was in the train. There are reserved seats in the trains. But most of the time there are little people will willing to give the seats to the people in need. Most of the people in the trains have their smart phones in their hands. Watching videos, listening to songs, playing games and etc.

When we were in Singapore, we went to the Universal Studio. The place is quite big and tired to walk. I just played some games. My friends said it's not worth for me to go inside as I didn't play much of the games. But for me, it's worth as I had stepped inside the theme park. :p

It's a long trip for me. I almost fall sick after coming back from the trip. I need to go to work the next day after I came back from the trip. I enjoyed my trip. But when I saw a pile of works on my table in the office I want to scream. Pathetic.

Tomorrow I need to think which place I want to sit as I was asked to change place. I have to move my things and arrange cabinets. Haii... I really like my existence place... Need to say bye to my lovely neighbours...

Really need to add oil now..

Thought For Days

Relationships With Others
A sensible person knows it is a waste of time and energy to get angry. Effort will then have to be made to reconstruct that relationship. It is much more useful to breathe deeply, pay attention to your attitude and answer without rushing. In this way, improve and strengthen your relationships with others. Create trust and your mistakes will be forgiven.

A Real Diamond
To spread the sparkle of your pure and elevated vibrations into the world is to be a real diamond.

With Love
Teaching others is best done with love, once the heart has understood, the mind opens.

Heads and Hearts
To handle yourself, use your head. To handle others, use your heart.

Co-operation Through the Mind
Never come into conflict with anyone's personality traits, but harmonise personality traits. Even if someone else causes a disturbance, just remain silent. You must not create any complications, but instead give them the co-operation of peace.

Lasting Fragrance
Tread lightly upon this earth, seeing, understanding but never imposing. Thoughtful, independent, be gracious in victory and defeat. Free of possessiveness, so ease of mind sweetens relationships. Like the scent of a rose the untroubled spirit imparts a lasting fragrance.

Freedom
Freedom is a state of mind. Understanding the self is the key to freedom. The more one understands the self, the easier it is to be liberated from the chains of waste and negativity. Freedom is to be uninfluenced and unaffected, to be at peace with the self. Real freedom is to experience the true essence of one's being.

Within Me
Even in today's world, beauty and truth can still be found and the first place to start looking is within my own self.

The Great Enemy
The great enemy of peace is ego. Ego makes you judge others and think about them in an unkind way. It makes you force others to do what you want. In this way you forget you are a student and that you are here to learn.

Filled With Treasures
All human beings have a place inside which is filled with treasures; be still and you will find it.

Keeping A Cool Head
Maintaining a state of inner calmness protects me from becoming a slave to my emotions. It also helps me to keep a cool head when I see others becoming heated or angry. Coolness is not to be distant or uncaring; rather it requires that I develop the deeply caring nature of a peacemaker and serve others in the best possible way.

Courage
One of the highest forms of courage is the ability to face my own negativity without feeling guilty or bad about myself, and then take responsibility for changing it. To begin this process, I first make contact with my deepest spiritual core. Reflecting on the things I care about mostly gives me a glimpse of my innate goodness. Building on this, God will, if I let Him, gently reveal in me a caring and compassionate nature that can even be described as divine. The courage to let go of unwanted thoughts and feelings will develop when I accept that my higher, divine self is not separate from me, but lies at the very heart of who I am.

Sweetness
Sweetness is a virtue that searches with patience for the good in every person and situation.

Cleanliness
The most important places to keep clean and tidy are my mind and heart. If I allow thoughts to flourish that I wouldn't want to see the light of day, I can never have any real self-respect. By starting each day in quiet reflection and pouring positive, loving thoughts into my mind, I gradually clean out cynicism and unkindness.

True Benevolence
There is no greater teacher than one's own practical example. To be really benevolent therefore means that I must first change, then I have the power, the knowledge and the experience of thinking and doing for the ultimate benefit of all.

Peacemaker
The first lesson on the path of becoming a peacemaker is to stop being at war with myself. It is only when the turbulence of my mind ceases that I can begin to make peace with the world

Introversion
The ability to enjoy one's own company is one of the greatest gifts life has to offer. Learning to turn my thoughts away from all my responsibilities at the day's end and take my mind into a state of peace and benevolence enables me to carry greater and greater loads without feeling the burden. When my inner landscape is full of beautiful thoughts, everything I do is a pleasure. Gently, I calm down chaotic situations and offer solace to troubled minds.

Create A Peaceful Thought
When your open your eyes in the morning, sit for a moment and appreciate the gift of a new day, create a peaceful thought and enjoy some moments of silence throughout the whole day.

Exercise and Diet
Unhealthy lifestyles are rooted in the mind and seeded in the soul. The spiritual exercise of the mind involves taking the mind out of the physical body and to the subtle, angelic body of light and then to our state of being a soul - a sentient point of light and power. As for diet control, pure thoughts are the healthy diet for the mind. Creative thoughts are like vitamins and positive thoughts provide proteins that build will power, while thoughts of serving others are like carbohydrates, which provide energy for the mind.

Embrace Change
When you are aware and accept that everything around you is constantly changing, and that you have no control over 99.99% of it, you are able to embrace change like a close friend! Change is a like a river, constantly flowing and moving things around. The river of life is constantly bringing you ideas, people, situations - each one is an opportunity to be enriched or to enrich others, and to learn. Change is the play of the universe as it entertains us in the biggest light and sound show of all time. Why not sit back and enjoy the show?

Vibrations of Happiness and Peace
While listening to news of this world filled with sorrow, with your stable intellect, give vibrations of happiness and peace to the peaceless and unhappy souls.

Ego Is The Enemy Of Peace
The great enemy of peace is ego. Ego makes you judge others and think about them in an unkind way. It makes you force others to do what you want. In this way you forget you are a student and that you are here to learn. Instead of learning, if you start giving advice, telling people what they should do and trying to change them, you are forgetting an important lesson in life. You can only change yourself not others.

Free From Worry
Worries are an excuse for not doing what you really have to be doing. With worry no problem can be resolved. Focus your attention on the present, act with initiative and the understanding that being calm and free from worry is far more effective.

Automatically Revealed
Anything you keep within you will automatically reveal itself. Therefore make sure your character is always full of divine virtues. These will be revealed through your eyes, your words and your behaviour and you will be capable of having great influence on others.

Positive Attitude
See and hear every person and every situation with a positive attitude. By thinking that everything is good, everything becomes good. Make the attitude of your mind good and powerful and even something bad will become good.

Diamond alone can cut another diamond and a thorn alone will have to be used to remove another thorn. The tendency to be greedy can be cured by another facet of greed. Instead of showing attachment towards worldly objects, one's attention should be directed towards divinity. We can be greedy to acquire spiritual knowledge. Let me possess a deep desire to develop forgiveness, politeness, straightforwardness and peacefulness.

Gently, With Patience
The habit of telling myself off subtly shapes a nature of sorrow. Instead, let me talk to myself gently, with patience, as one would do to a child Self -transformation.

Anger
Never give way to anger - otherwise in one moment you could burn up the joy that you collected over a long period.

Tolerance
Someone who has tolerance won't even say "I have to tolerate," because that implies they are feeling sorrow. Instead, they will say, "It's not a problem. There is something for me to learn in this." Whatever the situation, tolerance enables me to learn. Perhaps I need patience, or humility, or understanding. Tolerance allows me peace, and my love to stay constant. That way I stay connected with the Source of all that is good, so that I can help both myself and others.

Cherished Soul
Greet life with enthusiasm and confidence by constantly maintaining the awareness of how cherished you are.

Improving Your Relationships
A sensible person knows it is a waste of time and energy to get angry. Effort will then have to be made to reconstruct that relationship. It is much more useful to breathe deeply, pay attention to your attitude and answer without rushing. In this way, improve and strengthen your relationships with others. Create trust and your mistakes will be forgiven.

Timeless Beauty
Learn to go beyond words into silence, sit with your innermost self and experience the nourishing, timeless beauty of peace.

Contentment
To make good use of what you have and to let go of what you do not have is to live in a contented way.

Something Different
Give happiness and you will receive happiness. Give peace and you will feel peaceful. Give sorrow and you will get sorrow in return. Create thoughts and words that give only peace and happiness. The world is filled with worry and sorrow. Do something different.

A New Person
Your thoughts guide you to your destiny. If you always think the same you will always get to the same place. Think in a new way and you will be a new person. Give happiness to all and you will live in peace. Create peace in your mind and you will create a world of peace around you.

See the Sweetness
No matter how bad people may seem, they possess at least one virtue. Be like the humming bird and pick out the sweetness of everyone's character.

Faith
When I am continuously being battered by the storms of life, and my very spirit is ebbing away, then all I need to do is hang onto that gift called 'Faith', that one support which will weather the storms. Faith does not depend on a clever head, only belief: belief in the self and the strength that lies within. Faith is the seed of victory and the foundation of making the impossible possible.

Respect-worthy
To harmonise your ideas with the ideas of others and to give everyone respect is the means to become respect-worthy.

How Not to Get Tired
It's not busy-ness in life that makes us tired. It's thinking too much that makes us tired. How not to get tired? Don't get distracted, get upset or get too 'lost' in anything or anyone. Don't think too much about the work. Just do it! Then your mind will stay rested whilst you work.

Courage
Courage is to take a step forward into an area of difficulty without a solution in mind, but yet feeling that victory is ahead. It is going empty handed, but knowing that God's hand is stretched out to pull you.

Change
It is wise to bend rather than to break. Those who change will get spiritual wisdom. Conversely, those who have wisdom will decide to change. Change is
the first law of Nature.

Great Donor
Become a great donor and generous hearted. Donate good wishes at every second and in every thought.

Balance
Maintain the balance of responding to situations with a cool head and to people with a warm heart.

Kindness
Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

The Game of Life
By seeing life as a game, your lightness of spirit will make problems seem easier.

Touching Hearts
Move through life with lightness, touching the hearts of others without leaving a mark.

Happiness
Happiness is not a destination, it's a journey. Happiness is not tomorrow, it is now. Happiness is not a dependency, it is a decision. Happiness is what you are, not what you have.

Letting Go of Sorrow
If I allow bitterness and resentment to fester inside, it will make my relationships guarded and unsatisfying. The more I close down to others, the more I become a stranger to myself. By letting go of sorrow and negativity, I can keep my nature open and loving. Remaining open to life, with its constant adventures and opportunities to grow, is the only way to reach my full potential.

Peace Is Not Passive
Peace is not a passive attitude; it is an active state. It requires having constant attention in order to live and to respond as a peaceful being to any upset in life.

Spirituality in Daily Life
Spirituality is not a luxury, something for people who have nothing else to do but sit around and meditate. In fact, it is the lack of spirituality in daily life that is causing the breakdown and destruction of our planet and our civilisation. As we restore spirituality we can find methods of working together to create better selves and a better world. Thus we can see, looking at our global relationships, that spirituality is an integral part of life.

.........

Speechless.. This is what I can feel now... Supposedly beginning of this month I should be doing nothing.. I think as my assignment list haven come out. But, last week my senior had informed me that she will couch me to do audit on property development. I thought she wants to teach me new things. But, today I just know that my senior maybe leaving the company soon. She is now handing over the thing to us. For me there is good and bad. Good thing is I learn new things. Bad thing is my senior go already.. One of the backbone of the company. No one to search for when there is problem arise.

I had been busy for almost five months. Non stop of ot. Busy clearing the works and assignments. Rushing for the deadlines and clients' requirements. For me this year is the busiest period for me. I never think that I will be handling so much accounts and big companies. For me busy is the word that I can say. Busy.. Busy.. Busy..

After the peak, it's quite free... Nothing to do.. Some of us just sit there staring and doing nothing. Talking and chatting.. If not just start complaining. Doing the last work of the work.. Start to find something to do.. Free.. Free.. Free..

Now I just wish that when the new assignment list come out I can accept what I had been assigned for... Desperate.............................................................................................................................

Thought For Days

Calming The Mind
Don't give your mind permission to get disturbed. A disturbed mind is easily influenced. This will cost you your peace. Learn to maintain your peace by freeing yourself from attachments. Competing or comparing yourself with others will not allow you to focus inwards. An inner focus allows you to keep your eye on your higher self. Remember your original nature. It allows you to forge a link with the Divine. Then it becomes easy to recognise useless thoughts and replace them with a spiritual perspective. A calm mind is not just peaceful, it is focused, self-directing and Divine.

Resolve Conflict
There has probably never been a time where there has been so much fear and conflict across the world, not just across oceans and borders but across the breakfast table. In fact many now prefer conflict to peace, as they become addicted to the actions of anger and aggression, and the adrenaline rush which results. They don't really want conflict to end, in fact, they will say that some conflict is good to get things done and stimulate change. They are not aware that they are killing themselves. All conflict is simply a symptom of attachment to a position. And as we know, this generates fear, and fear, if allowed to stay, eventually kills it's host. All solutions are based on detachment or letting go. But that will be difficult until we can see that all possession is an illusion, that we have nothing to lose and that there are no victories in winning.

There Is God
Behind every flower there is a seed, and behind every painting there is an artist, behind every human being there is God.

Relationships
Good feelings for others are like ointments that heal wounds and re-establish friendship and relationships. Good feelings are generated in the mind, are transmitted through your attitude and are reflected through your eyes and smile. Smiling opens the heart and a glance can make miracles happen.

Impact
Make every thought, word and deed such that the impact gives someone courage and zeal and enthusiasm.

Enjoy Moments of Silence
When your open your eyes in the morning, sit for a moment and appreciate the gift of a new day, create a peaceful thought and enjoy some moments of silence throughout the whole day.

Sense of Humour
Steer easily through life by keeping a light touch on the controls, and a strong sense of humour.

New Perspective
It is easy to create new things, change places or do something different. To keep that sense of newness that creates enthusiasm is more difficult. The secret of newness in life is not to do new things constantly, but to see everything you do with new eyes, new insights and a new perspective.

Patience
Patience is a reflection of the peaceful mind. My peaceful mind is able to cope with all situations without becoming disturbed and agitated. It calmly accepts the resolution of circumstances and, with this patience acquires the power to deal with all situations.

Doing the Right Thing
The world is a stage and we are all actors. Each actor plays a unique part and is responsible for their own actions. Responsibility means doing the right thing no matter how big or small the task may be. Each one of us has a special role to play in the making the world a better place.

Best of Friends
The best kind of friend is the kind, you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away, feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Precious Gifts
More valuable than the things we give to each other are the gifts of virtues we pass on quietly to others through our selfless and noble actions. These gifts are truly precious because they are imperishable and they multiply the more we share them.

Belief Power
If you are ready to alter some of the current outcomes in your life then you will need to start with your beliefs. There are many categories. First there are 'fatal beliefs' - "I can't, I'm not able, I never will." These are the beliefs we have about ourselves, that set the boundaries and limitations of ourselves. Then there are 'blocker beliefs' - "My kid is stupid...my boss is an idiot...did you see that crazy person?" These are beliefs about others and, for however long they last, they block the flow of energy in a relationship. They are bricks in the walls we build between each other. Then there are 'survival beliefs' - "Get what you can while you can....there is not enough to go around...you have to look after number one." These beliefs would have us live in fear and anxiety, otherwise known as insecurity. We can choose our beliefs. But first we may have to unchoose the ones that have crept in over the years, now living comfortably 'below stairs' and seem to be part of our inner furniture. If you want different outcomes in your life, change your beliefs first. Clean up down stairs!!

Generosity
If I limit the love I give to just one or two, it will eventually go stale. If I learn to create love inside my heart and silently give it to everyone I meet, love will grace every corner of my life.

Happiness in the Heart
To have questions in your heart means to be distressed and to cause distress for others. Therefore, be one who has happiness in the heart, not questions in the heart.

An Ancient Peace
There is a silence into which the world cannot intrude. There is an ancient peace you carry in your heart and have not lost. There is a love you have missed for so long and will always come back to.

Life
Ignorance makes you believe that life functions haphazardly. Wisdom teaches you that everything that happens in this theatre of life has profound significance. What you see today is not the fruit of chance but a fruit from seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and you will create a life of peace in the future.

Values
Values are related to each other as if they were members of a great family .
From peace and happiness emerges inner joy. From this state of wholeness love awakens and with is the desire to share and give . Two of its relatives are tolerance and respect.
All values have a shared origin which unites them - the peace of spirituality.
When you lose peace you begin to lose everything.

Creativity
Acts of virtue emerge from deep within, from an inner sanctuary of silence from which inspiration flows. Every action has its seed in a thought and every thought is a creation of the thinker, the soul. I choose what thoughts I want to create and as is my thinking so are my actions and also my experience in life. Going within, I touch the stillness and pure love that lie at the core of my being and every thought that I create is of benefit to myself and of benefit to humanity.

The Secret to Being Content
To be peaceful is to be free from expectations and to want nothing from anyone. Take the initiative and be generous. Lead the way and do something. This is the secret to being content in all circumstances.

True Peace
True peace can be experienced only when we stop giving and taking sorrow. In order not to give sorrow we need a clear heart that has no ill feelings and for not taking sorrow we need a big heart that can tolerate and help other souls to get over their weaknesses.

Rich Person
A rich person is not someone who has more, but someone who desires less.

Calmness & Silence
Calmness increases efficiency. Silence increases effectiveness.

Observe and Reflect in Silence
Many times with the good intention of solving a problem you become part of the problem. In order to accept the problem it is more practical firstly to remain silent and serene . It is not necessary to understand the causes but to find solutions. Observe and reflect in silence and then make a decision.

Manners
A person of wisdom and spirituality has very beautiful manners that have grown from genuine respect and love for the whole of humanity. Manners in this sense have nothing to do with culture or education: it is simply a question of humility. When we are at the receiving end of such manners, we feel that some deeper part of us has been honoured. In fact, none of us deserves anything less.

Get Past Your Past
Let the past be the past - both my past and the past of others.
There's no need to keep repeating the past in my head.
Think: Whatever happened, happened, it's OK for me to move on. Let me be supportive and make it easy, not difficult - for myself and others.
When I stay in the present, everything is pleasant.

Enemy of Happiness
The enemy of happiness is wasteful thoughts. To stop yourself from thinking wasteful thoughts focus your mind on God.

Cheerfulness
The one who possesses cheerfulness becomes like a magnet of goodwill.

True Greatness
The one who can adjust to any situation with humility possesses true greatness.

Interfere Lovefully
One of the deepest habits we learn is interfering in others' lives. Even if we are not actively interfering there is a good chance it's happening in our heads. Then, when people don't do what we want them to do, which is usually all the time, our ability to relax is non existent. If you want to interfere successfully in someone else's life, try this loveful approach. It begins with acceptance, continues with acknowledgement, is empowered by appreciation and ends in actualisation. Only in this way can we help others be all that they can possibly be, and what else is life for, but to help others to be all that they can be. Only by making love practical in this way, can we heal our own habits of criticism, envy and blame. Accept, acknowledge and appreciate. It doesn't mean you have to agree, comply or condone. The paradox is that we ourselves will receive the same in the process, not only from ourselves, as we become what we give, but from others along the way. Why? It's the law!

Good Software
Positive thoughts are like good software that helps us to perform to the best of our abilities.

An Angel
Acceptance gives me the experience of being like an angel: never judging, never criticising and never worrying.

Plant The Seed Of Peace
As our thought so is our consciousness, and as is our consciousness so is our life. Let your first thought of the day simply be peaceful. Plant this seed. Water it with attention and you will gather the calm.

Quality Spotting
A compassionate person develops an eye for spotting the qualities that make each person special. Even when others are at their lowest ebb, it is possible to help them restore their self-belief by keeping a firm, clear vision of their goodness and specialities. Taking a gently encouraging approach, I must never give up on anyone.

Trustee Consciousness

We all have a relationship with everything. Obviously the relationship we have with the people and objects in our immediate vicinity is more intimate than the rest of the world. For most of us the most common relationship is possession. In our minds we think we own and possess things like cars and houses and carpets and golf clubs etc. This thinking easily spreads into jobs and tasks and positions and perhaps even other people. "I want you", and "You are mine alone", is the essence of many romantic film scripts and song lyrics. What we forget is that this relationship is wrong. It is not possible to possess anything. Care for..yes. Use...yes. But possess...no. You can't take it with you when you go, so we say! And yet it's the idea of possession which lies at the heart of all fear, war and conflict. Can you see it? Fear of loss, fear of not acquiring what we have already decided is ours in our minds. So what is a better relationship we can choose which takes all the fear away. Be a trustee. Everything comes to us in trust, for us to use and then to set it free. The consciousness of trustee sets us free of the tension of grasping and guarding. To see ourselves as trustees of everything that we receive, including our bodies, encourages our innate capacity to 'care for with dignity'. It is a much more relaxing way of relating to the things which we are privileged to receive in life.

Respect
It is always easy to expect and demand respect from others. It is simple to criticise others for not being respectful or for being rude or for not showing the proper appreciation. It is difficult to ask respect from myself. Without respect I can never gain respect from others. Without self-respect I will always be performing self-defeating actions. Without self-respect I will always be looking outside myself and will constantly be at the whims and fancies of other people's dispositions.
I cannot get respect by asking for it. I only receive it when I give it to myself and to others.

Honesty
Honesty is to speak that which is thought and to do that which is spoken. There are no contradictions or discrepancies in thoughts, words or actions.

Harmony
All things have their time. All things have their answers. All things have their right to be. Accepting this reality, all things come into harmony.

Within Me
Even in today's world, beauty and truth can still be found and the first place to start looking is within my own self.

The Only Weapons I Need
In situations of conflict, I have to realise that the only weapons I need are a
smile and a loveful attitude.

Harmony
The harmony that exists within the minds of individuals will be reflected in harmonious society.

Thoughts For Days

Spirituality in Daily Life
Spirituality is not a luxury, something for people who have nothing else to do but sit around and meditate. In fact, it is the lack of spirituality in daily life that is causing the breakdown and destruction of our planet and our civilisation.
As we restore spirituality we can find methods of working together to create better selves and a better world. Thus we can see, looking at our global relationships, that spirituality is an integral part of life.

Being
Do you spend most of your life running after things, doing things? Have you forgotten that being comes before doing? Those who remeber this secret make an effort to 'be' and discover that when they stop and observe, life helps and brings whatever is needed.

Head and Heart
To handle yourself, use your head. To handle others, use your heart.

Create Continuously
Every day is an opportunity to be creative - the canvas is your mind, the brushes and colours are your thoughts and feelings, the panorama is your story, the complete picture is a work of art called, 'my life'. Be careful what you put on the canvas of your mind today - it matters.

Enjoy and Feel Peace
The theatre of life has its own script. Each instant is unique. Live each moment as if it were the most important of all. You will enjoy and feel peace. Discover your spirit and the treasure within.
Your spirit is full of peace.
Your spirit is peace.

The Key to Peace
Humanity is like a tree. Each human being is connected with the Seed and belongs to the same tree. The beauty of the tree is that it has different branches and on each branch, numerous leaves.
All individuals are also different and have their own role. Think about what we have in common and you will appreciate every human being.
This is the key to remain at peace.

Easier Than It Seems
Learn to create silence in your mind and peace will flourish in your soul. To be internally silent do not think too much. Trust yourself. Trust others. Trust life.
You will find it is easier than it seems.

Follow Your Compass
Those who are wise live according to their purpose. Their life gives meaning to everything they do. They do not live by the clock, but instead follow their compass. This ensures they are on the road that leads directly to their destiny.

Self-Confidence
Firm faith and self-confidence in your goals determine your destiny. Be sure not to forget your goals; do not allow doubts to come. Instead of seeing problems, see only opportunities.

Delight
Take delight in small things because it is from seeds that flowers grow.

Like A Star
At the end of the day, on the wings of your thoughts, go beyond the cares and troubles of the world. Remove your mind from everything and everyone, and become blissfully detached, like a star. Like a star, be free to radiate light, for your essence is light and peace. Enjoy the simplicity of the night sky, the peace. And then, when you want to, you can shoot down to earth.

Detached Observer
Peace ends when you are emotionally involved in a situation. The practice of being an detached observer helps you stay stable and calm. It is the best way to approach a decision in any circumstance.

The Power of Thoughts
Thoughts are more powerful than actions because they are the creators of actions. You have to keep in mind that the thought-waves of your good wishes and pure feelings, your vibrations of peace and love, can once again bring harmony in nature and happiness in the world.

Depth of Humility
Humility means to understand the self and through that to understand others as well. Humility is the attitude where a person is not attached to his or her opinion and feelings. Humility is the most natural expression of truth. It helps in better understanding of truth. Humility is the basis for maintaining self-respect. Humility does not mean bowing down and being subservient to others. Humility allows you to see benefit in everything. Developing humility brings a lot of comfort and ease into your life.

The Weak, The Brave And The Strong
Anger is weakness, tolerance is bravery. Humility makes you strong.

Plant The Seed Of Peace
As our thought so is our consciousness, and as is our consciousness so is our life. Let your first thought of the day simply be peaceful. Plant this seed. Water it with attention and you will gather the calm.

Look Before You Leap
Whatever actions you perform, check the consequences and then perform that action. Then you will never say I don't know how this happened. I didn't mean it to happen. If you do not pay attention, lines of tension then become visible on your face.

See Only Virtues and Specialities
An ant is tiny beside an elephant but as soon as an ant enters the ear of an elephant it goes crazy. The elephant’s ears are so big, the elephant itself is so big and yet a tiny ant makes it go wild. In the same way, if I allow the slightest defamation of anyone go through my ears, I lose all my spirituality. I lose all my value because I start interacting with others on the basis of what I have heard about them. Pay attention to this! We have to be very, very selective in what we allow to enter our ears. Let me learn to see only virtues and specialities. Let me not concentrate on anyone’s weaknesses.

Change Skill
There is nothing more certain than that the world will continue to change. Accepting and not resisting this, is the first and most important inner skill in this frenetically changing, modern world. Life tests us every day to see how well we have developed this ability. Equally, there is nothing more real than the inner space within each of us that never ever changes. We may change our thoughts, our feelings, even our sense of who we are, but we fail to visit the unchanging centre of our own self. The ability to be in this inner space, where our peace is found, when all around would prefer chaos and crisis, is the deepest spiritual change skill. It is the eye of the storm, it is the oasis in the desert, it is the place where peace is power. Call in today. You'll be surprised how much it can influence and change everything and everyone around you!

An Ancient Peace
There is a silence into which the world cannot intrude. There is an ancient peace you carry in your heart and have not lost. There is a love you have missed for so long and will always come back to.

Space For God
The best solutions to problems will not be the result of hard thinking. Use your time better by creating peaceful thoughts, and problems will cease to affect you. Do not try to solve everything on your own. Leave some space for God to come and help you.

New Response
If you can see and accept that you create your own stress according to how you are responding, you will then see that there is something you need to unlearn as well as learn. The old response needs to be unlearned, and a new response needs to be learned.

Relationships
A sensible person knows it is a waste of time and energy to get angry. Effort will then have to be made to reconstruct that relationship. It is much more useful to breathe deeply, pay attention to your attitude and answer without rushing. In this way, improve and strengthen your relationships with others.

Ocean of Peace and Silence
It is said that rest is best. Imagine an ocean of peace and silence and plunge into it. Let your mind relax and enjoy moments of tranquillity. Free yourself from wasteful thoughts. This is the best type of rest.

Mistakes
When you make a mistake, learn from it, resolve not to repeat it and then forget about it. You will feel better again. Do the same with others, instead of making their mistakes bigger, dissolve them in your mind and help them also to forget about them.
A sensible person does not criticise the mistakes of others, instead, he learns from them for the future.

A Moment Of Solitude
When I start the day with a moment of solitude and contemplation, even the most crowded schedule runs more smoothly.

The Value of Silence
Silence means unplugging, disconnecting from the many sources that absorb our energy: problems, worry, pleasing, fear and overload. To be released quickly from all these debilitating socket points, we need to become introspective and quiet. This revitalises our thoughts.
Every thought we create is energy and it produces its own current, whether negative or positive. In quietness I step inside and I stabilise myself in the thought of that original peace. Then slowly, I begin to feel great. This original current of peace releases me from burden and fear.

Happiness Is What You Are
Happiness is not a destination, it's a journey. Happiness is not tomorrow, it is now. Happiness is not a dependency, it is a decision. Happiness is what you are, not what you have

The Final Analysis
People are often unreasonable, self-centred: Forgive them anyway. If you are Honest, People may cheat you, but be Honest anyway. What you spend years to build, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway. The good you do today, People will often forget tomorrow. Do Good anyway. You see, in the final analysis it is between you and God; it never was between you and them anyway.

Angels
An angel is a guest for he cleans up behind him. Where there has been misunderstanding he returns to clarify, where there has been hatred he offers love. He is never without gifts and always without burden.

Forgetting and Remembering
Life is a game of forgetting and remembering. You are losing the game when you ... forget who you are and what you are doing here, remember the false things of the past and what they did to you.
You are winning the game when you ... remember your true identity of peace, remember the One who is always peaceful and has unconditional love for you, forget the troubles of the past and move forward with the lessons learned.
Observe what you remember during the day and what you forget.

Feeling Great
Enthusiasm is the master key to feeling great. It keeps the self extremely positive beyond the pull of negativity while simultaneously making others feel uplifted too. To develop enthusiasm, have faith in the goodness of life, and in the original goodness of the self and others.
Dadi Janki

Behind the Masks
You see behind the masks and beneath the fears to the beauty within every heart.

Determination
It is because you are determined, not flawless, that you attain perfection.

Light Hearted Soul

You are a light hearted soul who laughs in the face of fear, and only cries tears
of joy.

Be At Peace
You spend most of your life running after things, doing things. You forget that being comes before doing. Those who remember this secret make an effort to "be" and discover that when they stop and observe, life helps and brings whatever is needed. Learning to be is learning to be at peace. It is our most fundamental nature.

An Angel
Acceptance gives me the experience of being like an angel: never judging, never criticising and never worrying.

Wings to Fly
You are a courageous soul who recognises that whatever you face will become the wings with which to fly.

Enemy of Happiness
The enemy of happiness is wasteful thoughts. To stop yourself from thinking wasteful thoughts focus your mind on God.

Change
It is wise to bend rather than to break. Those who change will get spiritual wisdom. Conversely, those who have wisdom will decide to change. Change is the first law of Nature

Spaces Of Silence
Push yourself like a machine and you will eventually run low on energy. Love your mind by allowing it spaces of silence and it will serve you tirelessly.

Wisdom
You have the determination to plant seeds of change now, and the wisdom to wait for the fruits to emerge.

Honesty & Clarity
Honesty does not mean simply speaking your mind. Honesty means to be very clear about everything going on inside you. Where there is honesty, feelings become pure and clean. Honesty is where there are no other thoughts or feelings inside, other than those that God himself would have. Such clarity is reflected in your words; they will be filled with the power of truth, and spoken with ease and without hesitation. The genuine honesty cultivated within you is what will reach out and touch others..

Humility
Humility dismisses nothing, rather, it takes even small things into consideration. It recognises that whatever life presents, needs to be respected. Small things are easily found in something big, but inside little things there is often greatness.

Mind & Heart
A mind filled with peace creates a heart filled with contentment.

Keep It Simple
To be simple means to be completely pure: to have royalty and greatness whilst being ordinary

Giving
With habits, never give in or we lose our dignity, With the self, never give up or we lose our destiny, With others never give your worst or you will never develop your best. The saying, "what we give is what we receive". The lesson: Just to give.

Make Up
While we spend much time 'making up' our faces to ensure our appearance is beautiful for others, we forget to make up our minds. This is not about making decisions. Making up our mind means ensuring that our thoughts are positive and our feelings towards others are filled with good wishes. When we do, others begin to sense a deeper beauty emanating from behind the skin! This is inner beauty. Don't hide behind your face. Let the real you show through.

Character
When you do not upset yourself thinking about how others must change and instead you concentrate on your own change, good things start to happen. First, you will feel better about yourself. Second, you will start to have positive feelings towards others and start to understand them. Third, others start having a more positive attitude towards you.

Treasure of Happiness
Let the treasure of happiness always be with you and all other treasures will automatically come to you.

Big Heart
For those with a big heart, even impossible tasks become possible.

Harmony
All things have their time. All things have their answers. All things have their right to be. Accepting this reality, all things come into harmony.

Creating Thoughts Of Benefit
Acts of virtue emerge from deep within, from an inner sanctuary of silence from which inspiration flows. Every action has its seed in a thought and every thought is a creation of the thinker, the soul. I choose what thoughts I want to create and as is my thinking so are my actions and also my experience in life. Going within, I touch the stillness and pure love that lie at the core of my being and every thought that I create is of benefit to myself and of benefit to humanity.
