Touching..

Few days ago, I was touched to a series that I had watched. As usual, every Monday I would switch to ch 702 to watch an english drama 'Without A Trace'. This week the drama is about a disappearance of a school student from the school's washroom. The investigation team began to interview the schoolmates and find themselves submerged into a school atmosphere where there is violent bullying, violent bullying, emotional manipulation and above all the need to lie and the fear of being viewed a tattletale. There are many flashbacks on the student on what had happened to him that had made him disappear and hurt himself.

All the regular cast of "Without a Trace" is excellent, in particular Enrique Murciano whose final scene was stunning. This episode manages to present a thoughtful account of school bullying and through good use of music and cinematography, is extremely powerful and touching.

This is the school student from this episode. I think he is good in acting and has presented this character of this episode very well. His name is Jake Thomas.

Watching this episode has made me think of many things. When I was watching some english drama especially from US, I will come across few episodes about the bullying that happen in school. The effect that result from bullying always is the scene of hurting themselves or other people. It is quite shock to find out this atmosphere is happenning in the schools of develping countries like US.
